The Glass Room Community Edition will be exhibited for the first time in Indonesia, at C2O library & collabtive in Surabaya.
The Glass Room is a pop-up exhibition that’s generating a global conversation about data and privacy: how our habits, movements, relationships, preferences, beliefs, and secrets are being digitally monitored and brokered for profit and political gains, among others.
Through The Glass Room exhibition, visitors are encouraged to introspect their habits and interactions with their devices and technology, and to understand how these are being mined by companies and government.
This will be the first event in a series of that will be hosted throughout 2020. Later in the year, different objects developed Tactical Tech team and their global partners will be presented.
Other than the exhibition, there will be a series of workshops, talks, and film screenings related to digital safety and privacy, such as workshop on Tor, localisation, etc. Check perintis.or.id for more information.
