Take a peek beneath the screen to the data patterns and traces we leave in our wake. This section visualises the data footprints that we leave behind for all to see, and examines how this data can be collected, analysed and used by others.
The Glass Room is currently on exhibit at the OBA Oosterdok (Amsterdam Central Library) from 6 November 2021 - 16 January 2022.
The Glass Room is a public intervention that provides an interactive, fun, and challenging experience, bringing to life the most pressing issues facing people and the tech industry today. As technology becomes embedded in every part of our lives and our environments, The Glass Room examines its impacts and helps visitors explore practical solutions to mitigate them.
Tactical Tech is an international NGO that engages with citizens and civil-society organisations to explore and mitigate the impacts of technology on society.
The OBA (Amsterdam Public Library) consists of 27 locations in the municipalities of Amsterdam, Diemen and Ouder-Amstel. Together with partners, they create safe and public spaces in all neighborhoods with and for residents to meet each other, exchange ideas, share knowledge and collaborate.
