The Glass Room is a pop-up tech store with a twist: a space for reflection, experimentation and play that takes a critical look at how our personal data is shaping society, as well as our selves.

The latest edition of The Glass Room recently took place in the heart of London, from 25 October – 12 November 2017, with over 18,000 visitors during the three week exhibition and concurrent workshop and event programme.

We will continue to update The Glass Room London documentation and resources.

In the meantime you can check out a selection of photos;

Find speaker bios and an archive (coming soon) of the Our Data Ourselves Event Programme on the Programme page;

Explore The Glass Room London Exhibit in VR, and find descriptions of the objects along with links to some of the audio video content on the Exhibits page;

You can see an evolving list of media coverage on Tactical Tech’s website, including BBC Radio 4, Channel 4 News, New Scientist, Wired and Mashable.

If that’s not enough, a portable version of The Glass Room will be popping up in event spaces, libraries, and festivals over the UK, Europe and South America in the coming months. Find out how to host your own Glass Room Experience on our Resources page. There you can also try our Online 8 Day Data Detox Kit.
